The 2nd annual Belgrade Avenue Blues & Jazz Festival will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 12 noon to 9:00 pm. This year the Festival will be ON Belgrade Ave. just over the bridge from Mankato in Lower North Mankato.

The music, food, children's activities, artists and other attractions will be set up on the street during the day.

The Butanes will headline the music lineup featuring top blues and jazz performers from the area and the Twin Cities. Starting at noon St. Peters' the ECHOES Big Band takes the stage followed by the REAL EASY JAZZ QUINTET at 1:30. Then, down from the Cities, BOOM BOOM STEVE V AND THE KNOCKOUTS rock from 3-4:15pm. Back from the first Fest are JOE PRICE and wife Vicki from Iowa. They will play their country blues from 4:30-5:45 pm. Once again Billy Steiner will appear with the MINNESOTA BARKING DUCKS/CITY MOUSE ALL STARS from 6-7:15. The BUTANES top off the evening at the Fest taking the stage from 7:30-9pm. They have a loyal following far beyond their home in the Cities.
This is a free event but donations will be gratefully accepted. BoB (Business on Belgrade) and their sponsors and the city of North Mankato encourage you to cross the bridge to beautiful Lower North Mankato.
Listen for Festival updates and information on KTOE-1420AM or your favorite Radio Mankato station.
