Immanuel Lutheran High School
Immanuel Lutheran High School’s Drama Club is presenting its fall play titled “I Never Saw Another Butterfly”.
Over 15,000 children passed through Terezin, and only about a hundred were still alive when Terezin was liberated at the end of World War II. Raja lived through it all, teaching the children when there was nothing to teach with. The story of those years at Terezin remains in drawings and poems by those children who lived there and published in the book, “I Never Saw Another Butterfly.” This play is Raja’s story…and history.
There will be three performances. The first is a dinner theatre on Friday, November 20. Seating at 5:30, dinner at 6:00, and the play to follow. Tickets are $12 for dinner and the show.
The other two performances are: Saturday, November 21 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 22 at 2 p.m. There is a free-will donation taken after these two performances.
