Description: We'll be riding through the scenic Fort Ridgley state park along the MN River Valley about 5 miles south of Fairfax and 40 miles north west of Mankato (we can arrange some ride sharing/car pooling to get there). This should be a beautiful time to see the park with fall colors peaking. I'm told novices and beginners are welcome.
There are 10 horses available for riding from the Fort Ridgely Equestrian Center. The ride will last approximately 2 hours with another 30 minutes for prep time. Costs for the ride is $50 ($45 if you wear a provided helmet).
NOTE: If attending, please seperately email me your approximate height and weight as the operator asked for this info. There is a 240 lbs rider maximum.

The fashion show is a benefit to support the Open Door Health Center, a non-profit organization providing care to uninsured and under-insured people in southern Minnesota. Boutiques will open at 4:30 p.m. with a 6:15 p.m. dinner and 7:00 p.m. fashion show. Tickets are $35 and available at Community Bank (300 St Andrews Drive, Mankato) or from a Zonta member.
