Celebrating our 35th gallery season, the Carnegie Art Center, located in Mankato's Historic Carnegie Library is the region's largest dedicated visual arts gallery with rotating monthly exhibitions,artist studio rental space, education classes and a unique gift shop that connects the community to the work of local and regional artists. Our Gallery and Gift Shop hours: Thursday, 1-7 Friday, 1-4 Saturday, 11-5 The Carnegie is closed one week each month for gallery installation and January for building restoration projects. Beginning June 2016, handicap accessible construction.
2019 Carnegie Art Center Juried Exhibition
We invite you to visit the Carnegie April 18-May 25 for the 2019 CAC Juried Exhibition, with work from local and regional emerging and established artists. The public is also invited to the opening reception Saturday April 27, 7-9 pm. Six juror-selected awards of excellence will be presented at 8:30 pm.
The Carnegie Art Center is this region's largest dedicated visual arts gallery providing exhibition opportunities for artists and visual art experiences for our community. It offers a unique gift shop which connects the community to handcrafted work by 35 local artists and includes, bronze sculpture, wood work, handblown glass, jewelry, fiber, and paintings.
