“Deaths of Despair” include suicide, drug overdose and alcohol-related fatalities. The increase in these deaths is the single reason that life expectancy in the United States declined for a third straight year in 2019. This presentation will introduce resilience and how learning the skills of resiliency will help an entire country overcome the decline in life expectancy one individual at a time.
