The Deep Valley Book Festival connects readers and writers in a celebration of literature and literacy. This FREE, day-long festival brings people together to celebrate our vibrant literary culture.

The Deep Valley Book Festival features dozens of authors, illustrators, publishers, literary organizations and hundreds of books! Visit with a favorite author or meet a new one, have your book signed, or listen to authors talk about their works.

The Festival provides readers the chance to interact with their favorite authors and meet new ones. Authors will sign their books, which will be for sale at the festival.

This FREE family event features a full day of programs, speakers, author panel discussions, Minnesota Authors from the Past, children’s activities, food, drawings and more.

Headline author, Jacqueline West is the author of the NYT-bestselling series The Books of Elsewhere, the middle grade fantasy The Collectors, and the middle grade mystery Digging Up Danger, as well as the YA novels Dreamers Often Lie and Last Things.
