Eide Bailly Online Webinar

This is an online webinar series, not an event at the Eide Bailly Mankato office.

111 S. 2nd St., Ste. 300

Course Description:
The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) issued Accounting Standards Update No. 2014-09, Revenue from Contracts with Customers in May of 2014, and the effective date for non-public companies is for periods beginning after December 15, 2018. These rules will impact when and how businesses recognize revenue for financial accounting and tax purposes. In addition, the IRS recently published proposed regulations interpreting I.R.C. section 451(b) and 451(c). These regulations were enacted as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which impacts many taxpayers. Join us for a webinar to learn more about these rules and what you need to do now to comply.

Learning Objectives:

Discuss the new revenue recognition rules
Identify the potential tax implications of the new rules
Outline the changes between the old and new rules and the risks and opportunities presented by the changes
