Thursday, March 19, 12:30-2 pm – Maintaining Brain Health Presentation
Many older adults have questions about changes in memory and thinking abilities as they age. What are “normal” changes in thinking and memory? What are signs that these changes may indicate something more serious? Can memory loss be prevented? This program will provide some answers to these questions in order to help you maintain a healthy brain as you get older. Besides learning about some promising research that supports the value of cognitive training, VINE’s staff will be on hand to share information about Learners and Company and Mind Aerobics, two new programs funded by grants from the MN Board on Aging and the Brookdale Foundation.
• No charge. Call the VACC at 386-5586 to register.
