Mankato River Ramble DIY
This Event Occurred in the Past.
Mankato may be Minnesota's best-kept bicycling secret! The Mankato River Ramble is made possible through a partnership between the Greater Mankato Bike & Walk Advocates and the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota. These two organizations came together to create the Ramble because they, and others throughout the state, believe that the Mankato and North Mankato areas provide some of the best bicycling and fall colors that Minnesota has to offer. Greater Mankato has been named a Bronze Level Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists.
This October marks the 10th Anniversary of the Mankato River Ramble. Due to COVID-19, instead of a one-day bicycling blow-out, we will be celebrating all month long! We will be offering an inviting menu of DIY rides from standard fare like our 26-mile Pie Run to a 5-mile family ride or themed rides like a mural to mural run. There will be maps and route descriptions for participants. Rides go their own way, on their own time. Registered riders will be eligible for prizes. More details to come!
