The University Orchestra will perform on Tuesday, April 23 at 7:30 pm in the Elias J. Halling Recital Hall of the Earley Center for Performing Arts, 320 Maywood Ave.

The concert will feature soprano Molly Schumacher performing “The Doll’s Song” from the opera, Tales of Hoffman. Ms. Schumacher won a Department of Music concerto competition in November and earned the right to perform the piece with the orchestra.

The University Orchestra provides a laboratory for the study of orchestral playing and a practical introduction to orchestral literature.
