Dean recounts what he saw on a seven-day cruise down the Yangtze River. Sites included the world’s heaviest musical instrument in Wuhan; Lhasa in the mystical land of Tibet, known as the “Rooftop of the World” with a view of the majestic snowcapped Himalaya Mountains; walking the 400 steps to Potala Palace, formerly the home of the Dalai Lama; flying to Xian and observing one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of the 20th century, the Terra Cotta Warriors. He will talk about his visit to Beijing and walking on the amazing Great Wall of China. The 13,000-mile-long wall was built entirely by manual labor. Other places visited near Beijing included Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.
